Samsung, that symbol brings up so many memories. For years, Samsung has entered into the mobile manufacturing race and affordability, nice features and excellent quality have become synonymous with this brand. The other name for Samsung Omnia HD is Samsung GT I8910 Omnia HD. A 3.7 inch touch screen display is more than enough for a delightful touch screen experience and 16 million colors that can be seen with this phone is really amazing. With a 8-megapixel camera I can't help but wonder how this cell phone will not become a hit with photographers. The suffix of HD seems to have come due to the fact that this is the first cell phone that has HD video capturing and playback. There are three buttons on the front side to reduce the dependence on the touch screen. As with many other phone, it is Wi-Fi enabled along with Bluetooth, GPS and HDMI as its other functions.

On first look the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD seems like a huge phone, but while experiencing it, this feeling disappears. It is quite big owing to its 3.7 inch touch screen. Stereo speakers and Virtual 5.1 channel Dolby surround technology makes for a decent music experience. This phone contains a TV out which makes a lot of sense because only then can this mobile phone can show its HD video playback capability on TV. As in any other smart phone it contains word, power point and excel capabilities. Integrated motion sensing along with games makes for an excellent gaming experience. With 3G features, internet surfing becomes a piece of cake. The battery has about 10 hours of talk time, which would be more than enough for the majority of users. GPS allows easy tracking and the usage of this phone as a road map. An inbuilt software called "Smart Reader" has the seemingly amazing function to scan small documents, this would be a boon to business men who need to scan things ranging from visiting cards to photographs.

As several of you would remember Sony began a new age of photography with its "smile detection" recognition system. This ability has been integrated into the Omnia, allowing a better photographic experience. A built in radio allows you to listen to music while you travel, a useful function for many. Finally in order to store the breathtaking videos by this phone, a 8GB to 16GB memory space has been integrated.

My verdict, this phone is perfect for many people; the capabilities are very nice along with a beautiful battery life. As for who should purchase this phone, any photographer or a businessman would gain greatly from this phone. This phone marks a new generation in combining entertainment along with business mobile phones.
